The “Band of Brothers” is the men’s ministry of Grace Baptist Church. The purpose of this ministry is to strengthen and deepen the relationship between Christian men in our church.

In most churches the women in the congregation tend to develop more meaningful relationships with one another than the men do. What tends to exist between most men in most churches is a mere Sunday morning handshake followed by words such as “It’s good to see you today.” We believe that God desires for His men to know each other in a greater way. So our motto is “More than a handshake.”

Our theme verse is Luke 8:21b “…my brethren are these which hear the Word of God and do it.” As men who desire to follow Christ, we recognize that we need one another. Without accountability there is vulnerability.

A Band of Brothers means more than a handshake. It means we are:

CONNECTED……I will help you and you help me!

CONCERNED……I will carry you when you are tired and you will carry me when I am tired!

CLEAN…..I will pray for you and you will pray for me!

COURAGEOUS……I will get in your face and you will get in mine!

COMMITTED……I will be there for you and you will be there for me!
